Caiarossa's Pergolaia is a pleasant and intense red wine that comes mainly from Sangiovese grapes, fermented in cement tanks with only indigenous yeasts and left to age for 12-14 months in tonneaux and another 10 months partly in cement tanks and partly in 25-hectoliter barrels. The result is a red wine with a rich and complex bouquet where aromas of ripe red fruits alternate with notes of sweet spices and black pepper, with a nice balsamic touch.

Food and wine pairing:

Excellent in combination with first courses with meat sauces, risottos, grilled meats, roasts. It is a versatile wine that can accompany the most convivial settings with varied dishes and the most flavorful cuisine.


Aging

To be consumed within the first five years after harvest, in all its youthfulness.
