La Tosa Wild Moon
Luna Selvatica is in the winery's flagship wine La Tosa, mainly made from Cabernet Sauvignon and a small percentage of Merlot, grown on typical Piacenza "red earth" soils. The soil, topography, climate and passionate care of Stefano and Ferruccio Pizzamiglio make it possible to obtain a Cabernet Sauvignon with a classic look, but with a deeply Italian and, above all, Piacenza soul.
It is an important and highly structured wine that also maintains a refined and elegant style, thanks to perfectly mastered aging.
Food and wine pairing
Like any important wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, it accompanies intensely flavored red meat-based dishes. It can accompany rare cooked meats such as a Rossini-style filet or rib-eye steak, or game, duck and pigeon.
Aging
It is a wine that can already be appreciated to its full potential as of now and can evolve up to 10 to 15 years from the date of harvest.
Value it by serving it in large glasses at a temperature of 16°C, to be enjoyed at 18°C.
