Tasting notes
It has maintained over time its character and authenticity, telling the style of the estate: elegant and complex, yet very drinkable, just as a Chianti Classico should be. Today it is produced with a high percentage of Sangiovese, to which Canaiolo is added and, sometimes, small percentages of other varieties.
Food and wine pairing
It accompanies a generous and flavorful cuisine based on meat dishes: platters of cold cuts and cheeses, first courses with meat sauces, grilled or slow-cooked red meats.
Serving temperature
14-16°C
