La Tosa - Emilia-Romagna

The winery La Tosa was founded in 1980, when the Pizzamiglio brothers decided to leave Milan and a future following their father's footsteps in the medical profession, to move to Vigolzone, their mother's hometown, in that country house that until then had hosted them on weekends and holidays.

With passion and hard work, they gradually acquired the lands surrounding the farmhouse, creating what is today recognized as one of the leading companies in the organic wine scene DOC in Emilia Romagna.

The passion for wine and the desire to produce it in a wonderful location like the Colli Piacentini unites today the families of Stefano and Ferruccio Pizzamiglio, who, driven by the desire and instinct to explore every secret of the vineyards and their territory, produce certified organic wines that are distinct and profound.

Known from the beginning by connoisseurs, their wines amaze for their ability to interpret tradition in a contemporary key. The experience gained over all these years has led them to masterfully interpret the generosity of their territory which, as all experts know, is rich from every eno-gastronomic point of view.
