Montenidoli, before being a winery, corresponds to a splendid territory on the outskirts of the medieval town of San Gimignano. The first to plant vines and olive trees on the "mountain of little nests" were the Etruscans, succeeded by the Romans and then the Knights Templar. The Montenidoli winery was founded in 1965 by Elisabetta Fagiuoli and her husband, partisan Sergio Muratori. Elisabetta carries with her a family winemaking tradition that dates back to the 1600s and with great enthusiasm has put herself at the service of this territory, respecting its values and tradition.

The Montenidoli vineyard covers 24 hectares on the slopes of the hillock west of San Gimignano.
