Vineyards located in the municipality of Provaglio d’Iseo (BS), within the historic area of Franciacorta, characterized by morainic soils and a microclimate ideal for the cultivation of Chardonnay intended for the Classic Method.
Vinification and aging
Chardonnay partly vinified in steel and partly in barrique. Secondary fermentation in the bottle according to the Classic Method and aging on the lees for 24 months, which gives the wine creaminess, finesse, and aromatic complexity. Lower pressure compared to Brut, typical of the Satin style.
Food and wine pairing
Suitable for the whole meal. Ideal with dishes based on crustaceans and mollusks, seafood risottos, delicate fish, and elegant preparations where softness and balance are required.
Tasting notes
Straw yellow color with greenish reflections, fine, continuous, and persistent perlage. On the nose, scents of lily of the valley, rose, gooseberry emerge, accompanied by notes of vanilla, bread, and toasted hazelnuts. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and creamy, with a silky texture and great overall harmony.
