Vinification and aging
Sweet wine from selected grapes affected by noble rot (Beerenauslese). Fermentation and maturation follow Kracher's classic method for sweet cuvées, traditionally in steel and partly in large barrels to develop complexity and balance
Wine and food pairing
Excellent with desserts (fruit sweets, pastries, crème brûlée), blue/blue-veined cheeses, foie gras or spicy dishes.
Tasting notes
On the nose hints of: white peach, passion fruit, honeyed melon and ripe fruit;
On the palate it is elegant with candied fruit, citrus and fresh acidity, balancing the sweetness.
