La Tosa - Emilia-Romagna

 

The winery La Tosa was founded in 1980, when the Pizzamiglio brothers decided to leave Milan and a future in their father's footsteps in the medical profession to move to Vigolzone, their mother's hometown, to the country house that had hosted them for weekends and vacations until then.

With passion and a lot of work, they have gradually acquired the land surrounding the farmhouse, giving birth to what is now recognized as one of the reference wineries in the scenario of DOC organic wines in Emilia Romagna.

A passion for wine and the desire to produce it in a wonderful location like the Colli Piacentini now unites the families of Stefano and Ferruccio Pizzamiglio, who, driven by a desire and instinct to explore every secret of the vines and their terroir, produce BIO-certified wines that are distinct and profound.

Known since their beginnings by connoisseurs, their wines amaze with their ability to interpret tradition in a contemporary key. The experience gained over all these years has led them to masterfully interpret the bounty of their territory, which, as all experts know, is rich from every eno-gastronomic point of view.
