Gianfranco Chiesa

Gianfranco Chiesa is a passionate producer who works with precision, and his Rovio Riserva is one of the most elegant expressions of Merlot in Ticino. Always attentive to meticulous selection of grapes that benefit from the best sunshine conditions, his vinifications are geared to give fine, distinct wines.

The winery is located in Rovio on a beautiful terrace overlooking Lake Ceresio where ca. 35,000 bottles of wine and two selections of grappa are produced annually.

The basis of their business philosophy is the preservation and enhancement of the land and the refinement of cultivation methods to have increasingly healthy and consistent grapes.
