Caiarossa - Tuscany
Caiarossa is a winery located in Riparbella, on the Tuscan Coast, that has been following the principles of Biodynamic and Organic farming since 1998. The name Caiarossa was coined to pay homage to the soils that are characterized by the presence of jasper, rocks and gravel with a deep red color. A fictional name inspired by Gaia, mother of all the Olympian gods, goddess of fertility and nature, identified with the earth itself.
The family that owns Caiarossa also runs Château Giscours in Bordeaux.
Through their wines, they want to express the importance of terroir, culture and love of the land combined with the continuous search for perfection.
The Alba Jelgersma family wants to offer wines that are intended not only for enthusiasts, but for all those who seek beauty and uniqueness in life.
