Il Bouquet di Chiara is a traditional Merlot to which we paid special attention to make it a more important wine.
The selection of grapes was more rigorous and aging in the barriques that have previously aged il Rosso di Chiara, gave further complexity to its capacity for expression.
It is a wine with aromas reminiscent of cherry, black cherry and hints of fine spices.
The palate is balanced, soft and delicate with a structure of excellent intensity. The tannins are revealed with firmness and harmony, supporting the final persistence.
Food and wine pairing:
It goes well with traditional cuisine, such as risottos, pasta dishes, long cooked meats and cheeses.
Due to its particular expression, Il Bouquet di Chiara is ready to drink immediately but you can keep it in the cellar for three to five years if you prefer to appreciate it with more evolved flavors imparted by aging .

- Grape varieties: 100 % Merlot from Mendrisiotto and Sopraceneri.
- Average age of vines: 20 years.
- Soil: clay and limestone in Mendrisiotto and sandy, on granite parent rock in Sopraceneri
- Climate: Vineyards are located in hilly area that benefit in the Sottoceneri from warm climate and in the Sopraceneri from significant temperature ranges between day and night
- Barrel (barrique) maturation: 10 to 12 months / 80% second-passage and 20% third-passage barriques
- Alcohol 12.80 % vol.
- Total acidity 5g/l
- Dry extract 25 g/l
- Pairings: Thanks to its fresh and delicate character, it is a wine that has great versatility in pairings. From pastas to risottos, and then accompanying the simplest meats. Bouquet di Chiare is a traditional merlot that finds its best place in convivial and informal settings.
