Il Rosso di Chiara is the wine that inspired my professional reconversion to making my own wines.

This is a wine in which many years of experience as a sommelier and as many as a consultant are concentrated in the selection of wines that can express a distinct character and personality. Produced based on traditional merlot, it is complemented by 10 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and 10 percent Cabernet Franc, which provide structure and elegance. Aromas on the nose are intense and offer fruity aromas of ripe cherries and blackberries. Maturation in fine barrels brings notes of fine spices and toastiness that enrich its capacity for expression. In the mouth, solid structure blends harmoniously with refinement, showing a distinct and deep style.

It is a wine that has the great advantage of being able to age for a decade or so but can be appreciated in its flatness from a young age.

Food and wine pairing:

This is an important red wine that accompanies savory and flavorful dishes such as pastas with meat sauces, risottos, red meats and game with medium-rare cooking, and aged cow cheeses. If tasted before 5 years from the vintage date, it is best expressed if left to oxygenate at least 15 minutes directly in a wide glass.
