Brunello di Montalcino Riserva PS is produced from a single vineyard planted by Siro Pacenti on the north side of Montalcino in the early 1970s and is bottled only in exceptional vintages. Thanks to the favorable weather conditions of the 2012 vintage, this is a wine that reveals an aristocratic complexity and style, such as only exceptional vintages can achieve. Here we understand the generosity of nature when it wants to reward us by giving us more.
After a short oxygenation in the glass, the wine takes shape and gives us great aromatic complexity, achieved thanks to perfect ripeness. The aromas of ripe blackberries, blend with those of plums and sour cherries, all complemented by a hint of clove and dried violets. In the mouth, it is a wine that seduces by its harmony, intense flavors and balance, thanks to soft and persistent tannins.
Food and wine pairing:
Its aristocratic character deserves to be enhanced by accompanying it with fine cuisine based on red meats cooked rare and with game. As Tuscan tradition teaches, it is excellent when accompanied by very mature pecorino cheeses.
