Vinification and aging
This red is made in steel with a temperature-controlled fermentation that lasts about 2 weeks. It is aged in steel barrels for about a year and then left at least 6 months in bottle.
Land
The grapes for this wine come from gently sloping, hillside vineyards located in Gudo, a district of Bellinzona, an extremely sunny area on the right bank of the Ticino River. The soils are located on a dejection cone and have special characteristics with a mixture of clay soils, quite sandy in the hills but rich in granitic gneiss.
Tasting Notes
Color: deep ruby red color
Scent: the scent of wine is reminiscent of forest berries
Taste: balanced and well-structured on the palate. Nice fruit and good drinkability

It is a very versatile wine that accompanies everyday cooking of traditional pastas and risottos, white meats such as rabbit and poultry, and young alpine cheeses.
