Chiara's Flower™, produced by Paolo Basso and dedicated to her daughter Chiara
It is a merlot vinified in white, complemented with some Chardonnay and Sauvignon. It is fresh, dynamic and multi-purpose and evokes the scent of spring flowers. Thanks to its lightness, it is the ideal wine for aperitifs and to accompany convivial cuisine.
- Appellation: Ticino DOC, Bianco del Ticino
- Grape varieties: Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon
- Average age of Merlot vines: 10-15 years.
- Soil: clay and limestone
- Climate: The vineyards are located in a hilly area, where exposure allows them to benefit from microclimates favorable to quality viticulture.
- Maturation: Alcoholic fermentation in steel (stainless steel) tanks for 9 months.
- Alcohol: 12.5% vol.
- Pairings: This is the ideal wine for aperitifs and to accompany convivial cuisine. It goes well with a multitude of finger foods, fish-based pastas and risottos, seafood and shellfish, lake and sea fish, fresh and light cheeses.
